Best. Invention. Ever. ***Giveaway!***

OK, ladies. I love brilliant ideas. Moms...grandmas....aunts....do I have the "must-have" item for you. So it may not be the lightbulb or even sliced bread, but in this mommy's world, I've discovered one very cool product. It's the "Dripstik."

How did I find it? I was at my local Hobby Lobby (of course), looking to purchase some fabric (of course.) And I see this shelf filled with these odd-looking contraptions. Naturally it caught my attention. As soon as I saw the label, I thought to myself, "I bet this was made by a mom!" I came home and got onto Dripstik.com to learn more. And sure enough, it WAS made by a mom! A mom of 5 to be exact! Mom-POWER!

What is it? you may ask. Well, let me show you...

Check it out! On one side, you can insert a popsicle stick in there to hold it uprightly. But the great thing is that you've got the sides coming out, serving as a "catch-all" for the "drippies!" Yeah!!! No more messy hands!

But wait. It gets even better!

Flip it over and on the other side it has an opening to hold a cone! Fantastic! I can even picture how handy these would be to have on road trips. No more messy ice cream drives!

So I brought it home to try out the product on my 4 amazing little testers. First off, let's just say that 2-year-olds and "waiting for mommy to finish taking pictures" do not go hand-in-hand. :)

But after I finished taking these shots, she was the first one to try it out! Worked like a gem! No puddles on the counter, no drips on the clothes, and no icky, sticky hands! Mission accomplished!

Can you imagine what cute birthday party favors these would be?

So back to my lil' testers. Here were some other comments from my children:

"Wow, Mom... this is so cool!" (With a few squeels inbetween)

"Mom, this is great because it is re-usable." (My eco-friendly child)

"Look, Mom! No hands! I can do my homework and eat ice cream at the same time!" (Here's a picture for the proof...)

Personally, I think there's a lot to be said about that aspect. :)

So the other night I'm at my computer thinking about how much I'm liking this product. And I thought, "I want to be able to give someone else the opportunity to have their own set!" And so I wrote the very wonderful "momprenuer" behind this and asked her about doing a giveaway. And she was so kind to say yes!

So thanks to Mecinna, we will be giving away a family set of 6 Dripstiks! That is one of each color! (Which also made me think of how handy that would be to have them in all different colors...no one mistakes one another's ice cream cones! Very nice!)

How can you win? There are a few different ways!

1. Leave a comment on this post regarding what you think about the Dripstik!

2. Go to my sidebar and find my "Add My Button" image. Add to your blog and make a 2nd post here to tell me where myself and others can find it! That's another entry!

3. Sign up for my newsletter! (If you're already on, no worries....you're entered!)Leave a comment here that you are a subscriber!

4. Become a follower to my blog! Again, if you already are, let me know by making another comment here!

And that's it! (Unless of course you want to TWITTER, BLOG, tell your best friend's sister's niece about it...wonderful!) Be sure to leave a comment for each of those items as well so that the handy random number generator can find your entry! ;) That is a total of 7 entries!

You have from now until Wednesday, April 22 to enter! I'll announce the winner next Thursday!
