Kim and I will be going on KSL's Studio 5 today to show a couple of fun techniques for making pillows for your home! I will be sure to embed the segment on the blog as soon as it goes live. Here is a sneak peak though at what we'll be showing!
Flowers are HOT right now and there are so many fun ways to embellish with them. We'll show a couple of different techniques using both organza and felt. We even have a free pattern for you to download in order to make the felt flower. Click HERE to get your copy! And although Tuesday’s show will be more about how to make those unique flowers for embellishing pillows, I knew you might like to know the measurements we used for making the pillows themselves. So here they are:
I am participating today in a few different blog how-tos. Hop on in and see what's going on in the blogosphere!

ReplyDeleteI saw this video on a blog, found a pillow on yet ANOTHER blog inspired by these pillows and she gave me this link. Please tell me you have an etsy shop or some way that I can buy the one that goes horizontal from yellowish to burlap. It would be the perfect inspiration item for my living room this spring. (crossing my fingers, holding my breath)
ReplyDeleteThese pillows are just lovely!!!
ReplyDeletegreat project! Can you tell me where to find the orange swirly fabric? I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
B.
Hi Bassma! I love that orange swirly fabric, too! I picked it up at Hobby Lobby. They just got in a brand-new line of some heavier decorative fabric that is still 45" on the bolt. All of the fabrics in those pillows are a part of that line. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh! I LOVE that grey pillow. Must.Have.It
ReplyDeleteLove all of the pillows! So creative and fun! I'm including the striped ones in my stripe inspiration post today and linking back.
ReplyDeleteLOVE THEM. I especially like the fact there are a few picky/pokey, gorgeous items on them. This will keep my kids from lying on them and stop my husband from putting his feet on them!! :) Great Idea!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. Just love that gray one.
