One of my favorite things to do is to quilt. What's even better? Quilting with friends. And it seems like these days, it sometimes gets more difficult to find the time to do just that.
Fortunately, I have some wonderful friends who MAKE the time to get together once a month to enjoy this creative time together. I am so blessed to have friends of all different ages in which sharing our passion of quilts really ties us together in a common thread. (No pun intended.)
Here are a few pictures of our most recent get-together. As you will be able to tell in these pictures, these women are so supportive, helpful, happy, and just downright wonderful. I love them all so much!
And just for fun, I'm going to share a few of my favorite quilting quotes in this post. :)
Happy Monday everyone!

I looked for faces I knew but didn't recognize anyone! I thought for sure Lisa would be there. I saw her in Bernina a long time ago and she was working on the cutest project. I think it was a wall hanging or table topper. That's the first time I knew she did things like this. Another saying to add to your list is "may your bobbin always be full." Did you know Breezie had her baby? She's named Bailee Kamrynn but I haven't got to hold her too much since she's still in the NICU. She's blogged all about it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love to quilt with my mom. When the kids are out of school for the summer, we go up to her house every week for a quilting day. My daughter, who is eight, is starting to take an interest, so I hope she'll want to quilt with me and my mom someday, too!
