Someone once said,
"Learn to say 'no' to the good so you can say 'yes' to the best."
And in the past several months I have realized more and more that my best is what I can give to my ultimate priority - my family.
Is blogging a bad thing? Absolutely not! I have made so many wonderful friends and have been able to share a bit of myself out there. But as The DIY Dish continues to grow, I know that I have to re-evaluate how I am spending my time, and so with some regret and a whole lot of hope, I will be taking my JesseKate Designs blog down.
But I promise I'm not gone! :) I will be blogging over at The DIY Dish, and so I truly hope you will follow me over there. Please say you will! And I'll still have the blog up for a few more days.I want to stay in touch!

I know what you mean! I am so glad to have met you and I'm glad we can still stay in contact via DIY Dish:) I really like it over there because I can hear your voice and feel like I know you a little bit better! Are you going to take down the blog completely? It would be nice to have the archives to go through again to see your great ideas still.

ReplyDeleteSo sad to see you go, but I know how you feel. Glad you will have a little more free time after giving up the blog.
ReplyDeleteI will continue to follow you on the DIY dish.
I love reading your blog. It seems like just yesterday I "met" you in the Thrifty Under Fifty challenge-such a fun time! I credit you and Kim for starting me off on my blog and thanks so much for all your support. Thanks too for all your awesome ideas-my kids love and remember so many of them-so glad you're still around on DIY Dish and congrats on all your success with it!
ReplyDeleteWell, after several days of pondering what to say, I have come to the conclusion that there are no words that flow easily. I will miss seeing this side of your family life. the DIY dish is more about creating and craft demonstration. You and your beautiful family will be missed. However, I am sure that along the way you will keep us updated on what's happening over there. Thanks for all the great memories. Much love, H.Roe
ReplyDeleteI realize that you are leaving this blog, but I thought I would send over a note letting you know that I posted some of your St. Patrick's Day ideas on my blog this morning. Thanks for sharing all your creative ideas!
